Super 8 | 2014 - Present
An ongoing series of 'exquisite corpse' films with the potential to continue indefinitely. The films are all in-camera double exposures made in collaboration with other artists and filmmakers. Unstable and intransitive by nature, these resonant and dissonant image-sentences continuously ebb and flow in and around each other, vying for presence on screen and in the minds-eye.
Live-Performance | Super 8 + Sound | 2017
Draft for a Scenario is an expanded-cinema work comprised of a single loop of Super 8 film created in-camera and then edited live by cutting and splicing the film material in motion, while it is being projected.

A strange loop is a logical inconsistency that manifests when, by moving upward or downward through a hierarchical system, like the linear sequence of images imprinted onto a length of film, one finds oneself back where one started. Like an M.C. Escher drawing, Strange Loop is a self-referential paradox.

An aleatoric action embraces elements chance. The Aleatronic Feedback Machine creates the conditions for exactly this sort of action to occur, in this case incorporated into a process of generative audio-visual experience.
Installation + Live-Performance | Super 8 + Sound | 2011
Circles of Confusion is a generative expanded cinema work composed of Super 8 film-loop projections coupled with optically-modulated sine-wave oscillators, or Opto-Theremins.
